WELCOME TO CLUB 204

Club 204 is more than just a showroom and workshop - it's a dream come true for founders Sjoerd and Linda, who have built a community of fatbike riders and enthusiasts in the heart of Amsterdam.

In 2020, Sjoerd  took his passion for fatbikes to the next level by founding Urban Drivestyle Amsterdam. His first ride was with Urban Drivestyle in Berlin, and it was a game-changer. He was blown away by the quality and performance of the bikes, and knew that they had to bring this brand to Amsterdam. In about 6 months he rode 4k on his Uni MK.

And so began the 20x4 journey. Starting with a small 20m2 shop, Sjoerd and Linda quickly realizes that there was a huge demand for fatbikes and a even bigger need of good service in Amsterdam.  With dedication and passion it didn't took long  they had outgrown their small shop.  In just one year, the UD shop  had grown to an impressive 400m2 UD Brandstore in the North of Amsterdam.

In 2023 Sjoerd & Linda expanded their range of 20x4 fatbike brands, making it the first multiple brand store in the Netherlands. "Welcome to the CLUB"    This exclusive showroom and workshop is dedicated to providing the best fatbikes and  service on the market, all while fostering a community of like-minded riders and enthusiasts.

For Sjoerd and Linda, CLUB 204 is more than just a business - it's a labor of love. They are passionate about sharing their love for fatbikes with others, and are committed to providing the best service and support to their customers.

So if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind fatbike or experience in Amsterdam, come and join the CLUB 204 community and discover the best 20x4 fatbikes in the Netherlands.

 The History of Fatbikes

Electric fatbikes, also known as e-fatbikes, are a relatively new innovation in the world of cycling. They combine the ruggedness and stability of a scooter or moped with the convenience and power of an electric motor.

The concept of fatbikes originated in the 1980s in Alaska, where cyclists were looking for a bike that could handle the snowy and icy conditions of winter. Fatbikes have oversized tires (28inch) that provide more surface area and traction, allowing them to ride on surfaces that traditional bikes can't.

The first electric fatbike  (26inch) was introduced in 2005 by a company called Stealth Electric Bikes. They used a hub motor that was mounted on the rear wheel and powered by a lithium-ion battery. However, it wasn't until the mid-2010s that electric fatbikes began to gain popularity.

Today, there are many manufacturers producing electric fatbikes or 20x4 tires (24inch)e-bikes, including major players like Coast cycle, SEIC, Super 73, Mario, Urbandrivestyle, 50 REBELS, and ASTONIC. These bikes are popular among cyclists who want to explore the urban landscape, off-road terrain, without expending too much energy.

Electric fatbikes have also become popular for cargo, committing and school rides. They are also used for weekend adventures and off road rides, as they provide a reliable and versatile means of transportation in a variety of terrain and weather conditions.

Overall, electric fatbikes represent an exciting innovation in the world of cycling, offering a new way to explore the great outdoors and challenge oneself in new ways.

20x4 inch Fattires

Fatbike tires, or 20x4 tires, have become increasingly popular over the years, as they provide better traction, stability, and flotation than regular bike tires. When it comes to choosing the best brand of fattire for your fatbike, Vee Tire.Co is one of the most common and highly regarded brands in the market.

Vee Tire.Co offers a range of high-quality fattire models, including the Speedster, Mission Command, Zigzag, Chicane, E-Huntsmen, and the Grizzly. Each of these models is designed to provide exceptional performance, durability, and grip in various riding conditions.

In addition to Vee Tire.Co, other common brands of fattires include Innova, Kenda, Duro, Zooka, and Bridgestone. These brands also offer a range of models that cater to different needs and preferences of riders.

When choosing the best fattire brand for your fatbike, it is important to consider the terrain and weather conditions you will be riding in, as well as your riding style and personal preferences. With the wide range of options available, you are sure to find the perfect fattire brand that meets your needs and enhances your riding experience.
